L' AquariumThe Aquarium in Barcelona is situated at Port Vell, by the sea. With a total of 11000 animals, L' Aquarium is one of the largest in Europe. Inside are 35 themed tanks with a variety of Mediterranean fish species. The main attraction is a 80m long glass tunnel from where you can have a closer look at the different kinds of sharks swimming around it.

Columbus StatueThe Columbus Monument stands at the site where he arrived after the discovery of America. It was designed by Gaietà Buigas for the World Exhibition of 1888. On top of the 60m high monument is the statue of Christopher Columbus pointing towards America made by Rafael Arché. Inside the pillar is an elevator which rides to a viewing platform for panoramic views of the Ramblas and Port Vell.

The park is opened for public and is the perfect place to discover or to enjoy a great view from the beautiful mosaic benches on the terrace.

The collection contains sculptures, paintings, objets d'art, drawings, engravings, posters, photography, coins, medals and paper money.

La PedreraLa Pedrera, also known as Casa Milà, is one of the buildings designed by Antoni Gaudí. It was his last work before he devoted himself completely to the construction of the Sagrada Familia. Today some flats are privately owned but most of the building is open for public.
