Main Market SquareThe Grote Markt is the central market square of Brussels. It is surrounded by guild houses, the Town Hall(3rd photo) and the Bread House(2nd photo). This square is the most memorable and most visited landmark in Brussels. It was named by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1998. Every 2 years in August this square is coverd by a flower carpet, a great event to see when you're in the city.
