Saint Michael's Church The Saint Michael's Church is the oldest place of worship in Luxembourg City. The first church on this spot was build in 987 but was destroyed several times over the following centuries. The building was given its present shape around 1688 after it was damaged by the troops of Louis XIV. The Saint Michael's Church is located at the Fish Market in the Old Town of Luxembourg City.
