Museum Ship Mercator

Mercator The Mercator is a three-masted barquentine, designed by the Antarctic explorer Adrien de Gerlache. It was used as a training ship for the Belgian merchant fleet from 1932 until 1961 and made 41 voyages altogether. Since 1964 the Mercator lies at anchor at Ostend and serves as a museum ship.
