Antwerp Zoo is the oldest zoo in Belgium and one of oldest in the world. The zoo was founded in 1843 and is located in the centre of Antwerp, next to the Central Station.

More than 5000 animals live here from 950 different species, these include elephants, lions, bears, giraffes, penguins and many others. Visiting the zoo will take at least half a day.
