Euronext Brussels is part of the NYSE Euronext, a corporation that operates multiple securities exchanges, like Euronext, New York Stock Exchange and NYSE Arca. The most well known index on the Euronext Brussels is the BEL20.
The home of the stock exchange was designed by Léon-Pierre Suys in Neo-Renaissance and Second Empire styles. Construction started in 1868 and was finished in 1873.
