Each spring, the city of Genk in Belgian Limburg bursts into life with the arrival of the 1 May Kermis, one of the largest and most exciting funfairs in the province. In 2025, the festivities run from Friday 25 April through Monday 5 May, offering 11 days of thrills, family entertainment, cultural highlights, and traditional treats.
This year’s edition features more than 100 rides, food stalls, and games, spread across the vibrant fairgrounds of Dieplaan and Jaarbeurslaan, right in the heart of Genk.
