St. Florian's Gate

St. Florian's GateThe St. Florian's Gate is the main city gate in Krakow, it was built at the end of the 13th century. On the south side of the 33,5 meter high tower you can see a bas-relief of St. Florian. The north side of the tower is decorated with a stone eagle carved in 1882. On both sides of the gate are the Medieval city walls. Here you can find lots of paintings and handmade artifacts. Close to St. Florian's Gate you can find the Barbican of Krakow.

Hi Juka!
I'll definitely save this city for one of my next trips!

Finally, I'll get some days off this year; not much, just from Friday night (September 5th) through Monday morning (September 15th). But I don’t leave you empty hands: a beautiful beach and lots of champagne wait for you at Blogtrotter. Enjoy! ;)

Even just through pictures, it's nice to see more of Europe. I hope you'll visit my blog, "Dreams List", where I shared some experiences with Europeans who were at Greece.
