The Louvre is divided into 3 parts with about 35.000 objects on display. To much for just one visit but you can't leave Paris without having a look in here.

I agree! The Louvre is a stunning museum that really needs at least a day just for exploring it, if not more. I've talked to too many people planning their Paris visits that originally only allocated a few hours to the Louvre, only to realize that a partial day does not do it justice.

I visited the place a few years back. Yes, you probably need the whole day to tour the whole museum. So many beautiful, interesting things to see. I spent only half a day there. A mistake indeed.
