The Louvre

The Louvre, Paris The Louvre, home of the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and many other masterpieces. It is one of the largest museums in the world and famous for its glass pyramid. The Louvre is divided into 3 parts with about 35.000 objects on display. To much for just one visit but you can't leave Paris without having a look in here.

I agree! The Louvre is a stunning museum that really needs at least a day just for exploring it, if not more. I've talked to too many people planning their Paris visits that originally only allocated a few hours to the Louvre, only to realize that a partial day does not do it justice.

How I wish I can see for for myself too.

I visited the place a few years back. Yes, you probably need the whole day to tour the whole museum. So many beautiful, interesting things to see. I spent only half a day there. A mistake indeed.
