Hidden among the trees and hills of Domain De Schorre in Boom, you’ll find a magical surprise, seven giant wooden trolls created by world-renowned Danish artist Thomas Dambo. These massive sculptures were a gift from the Tomorrowland music festival, celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2019, and have since become one of the area’s most enchanting attractions.

Art with a Message
Thomas Dambo is famous for crafting incredible art from recycled materials. Using old pallets, reclaimed wood, fallen branches, and broken trees, he and his team have built over 100 art projects worldwide. His goal? To inspire people to respect nature and see the beauty in recycling.
Meet the Seven Trolls
The trolls at De Schorre range from 4 to 18 meters in height and are scattered across the Magical Troll Forest. Among them, you’ll find Una and Jeuris, two trolls relaxing on the grass outside the forest, and the Holy Troll, who lives inside a gigantic lookout tower offering breathtaking views over De Schorre and the surrounding countryside.

Visiting the trolls is an adventure in itself. You can follow scenic walking trails to discover each sculpture, making it a perfect outing for families, photographers, and nature lovers. The walk can take a couple of hours if you want to see them all, so wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera.
