La Roche-en-Ardenne: the Pearl of the Belgian Ardennes.

La Roche-en-Ardenne is located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes in the valley of the river Ourthe. The village is popular with tourists because of the wide variety of activities you can find in the area. Sports enthusiasts visit la Roche-en-Ardenne for kayaking, mountain biking and hiking. For those interested in World War II, in La Roche-en-Ardenne you can visit the Musée de la Bataille des Ardennes. This museum has a large collection of artifacts, ranging from light and heavy arms, personal objects and vehicles.

La Roche-en-Ardenne also has a lot to offer for families and those looking for a relaxing break. The camping located at the border of the river Ourthe is only at 700m from the centre. Nearby you can also find Parc Gibier, a wildlife park with mostly local wildlife. A visit to the feudal castle which overlooks the charming town of La Roche-en-Ardenne is also highly recommended. The ruins of this medieval castle date back to the 11th, 12th and 13th centuries.
