Discover The Comic Book Heroes in Middelkerke

Spread over the length of the dyke promenade in Middelkerke you can discover these bronze statues of comic book heroes. Middelkerke is the comic strip community at the Belgian coast. Every summer a comics festival takes place at the Arthur de Greefplein which attracts thousands of visitors. 

During this festival there are thousands of comic books and famous artists will sign their work here. On the occasion of this festival, a new statue of a comic book hero is inaugurated every year.

Have A Fantastic Time in Toverland

Toverland is an amusement park located in Sevenum, The Netherlands. This park consists of a unique combination of challenging attractions and original, active play landscapes. A part of the park is located in 2 large indoor halls, which is an asset in bad weather. A whole day of fun is therefore guaranteed anyway.

Most thrilling rides are the wooden roller coaster Troy and the wing coaster Fenix. Troy is actually the fastest, highest and longest wooden roller coaster of the Benelux. Furthermore, there is also a rather unique steel coaster Booster Bike where the carts are motorcycles and you are launched at 75 km/h. Other fun attractions are Djengu river, and the roller coaster Dwervelwind. All ages will have a fantastic time in Toverland!

Sand Sculpture Festival Middelkerke

Travel back in time this summer to the land of dinosaurs at the Sand Sculpture Festival in Middelkerke, located at the Belgian coast. 

Have a look at a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops or a Brachiosaurus, at least one made of sand. This year the festival has even bigger sculptures than in previous years.

Visit the Dinos in the Sand at the Belgian coast until 9/11/2022.
