Parc Güell

Parc Güell in Barcelona

Parc Güell in BarcelonaParc Güell in Barcelona is another masterpiece by Antoni Gaudi. The park was constructed for Count Eusebio Güell between 1900 and 1914. Originally the area was planned to be a residential garden village with 60 housing units. Eusebio Güell, however, failed to sell the houses and the property was bought by the city in 1922. The park is opened for public and is the perfect place to discover or to enjoy a great view from the beautiful mosaic benches on the terrace.

Park Guell is one of the most beautiful and original parks I've been to. Antoni Gaudi's essence and creativity is present at every single stone in the park. You can have a great view of Barcelona from the top, at the cross. Sit on the wavy, colorful benches and relax. Don't forget to take a picture next to the dragon at the stairs.
