La Pedrera, also known as Casa Milà , is one of the buildings designed by Antoni GaudÃ. It was his last work before he devoted himself completely to the construction of the Sagrada Familia. The building was completed in 1912 and was constructed to house apartments.
La Pedrera is not so colourful on the outside like Casa Batlló, but is admired for its magnificent roof architecture. Today some flats are privately owned but most of the building is open for public.
