Municipal House in PragueDesigned by Antonín Balšánek and Osvald Polívka, the Municipal House is the most remarkable Art Nouveau building in Prague. With the input of 30 Czech leading artists, the building was constructed between 1905 and 1911. The Municipal house has a multifunctional purpose, it is used for concerts, conventions, conferences and balls. It also houses the most important concert hall of Prague, the Smetana Hall and is home to the Prague Symphony Orchestra.
