Hiking Trails at Alpe Parpfienz in Brand

The Alpe Parpfienz in Brand can be reached with the Dorfbahn cable car. At the top(1390 m) you can enjoy beautiful views of Brand and the valley.

Straight afterwards you can take the Panoramabahn cable car to the Burtschasattel at 1680 m. The ride in the cable car and the top of the Burtschasattel offer spectacular views of the Brandnertal.

When you follow the path at Alpe Parpfienz you can choose between the bare foot path and the Parpfienzrundweg. The bare foot path is 2,3 km and ideal when travelling with children. The Parpfienzrundweg is 8,9 km and very popular in the summer for its blossoms. A perfect place to rest is the Parpfienzalpe restaurant, which is situated on both paths.
