Because of financial problems only a 24 m high tower remained. Inside the church you can see numerous painting by famous masters, including "Christ on the Cross" by Anthony Van Dyck. The St. Michael's Church is situated next to the St. Michael's Bridge in the historical center of Ghent.

Hi Emm, here's the link to Sites to See

Oh cool thanks - I actually visit that blog often.

Thank you so very much for providing the link to the lovely Ms. Emm, my dear Juka. I used to always include a link when I notified people of being included, but I have become aware of the fact that some consider that as being a promotion of my blog when it is actually meant to promote theirs. Anyway, I hope you liked being included.

Well I think if you are doing something as nice as featuring someone's site then you are well within your rights to say "included in this weeks Sites to See. The other thing you can do is sign in with the 'Name/URL' option which will link straight to your blog. If anyone takes issue with it, then just say you were urged to use the actual link by others!

Thanks for the encouagement, my dear Emm. You most certainly are a lovely lass--both on the outside and inside.

By the way, I do always sign in with all of my information. For I am hoping to make some friends out here in cyberspace, and I have nothing to hide.

Well, I take that back. For I do have plenty that needs to be hid in order to protect both the guilty and the innocent, but my "job" is to bring as much out into the open as I am allowed and enabled to--even the stuff that I am rather ashamed of, myself.

P.S.: Thank you for allowing the lovely Ms. Emm and I to communicate through comments here. I hope to hear something from you, as well.
