Cobh's Most Instagrammable Spot: The Deck of Cards

The Deck of Cards houses in Cobh, Ireland are a row of 23 brightly colored terraced houses located on West View Street. They were built in 1850 for naval officers stationed in Cobh, which was then known as Queenstown. 

The houses are named after their distinctive pointed roofs, which resemble the stacked cards of a house of cards. The houses are a popular tourist attraction and are often featured in photographs of Cobh. The best place to take pictures of the Deck of Cards is from West View Park, which is located across the street. The park offers a front-on view of the houses with St. Colman's Cathedral in the background. 

The Deck of Cards houses are a reminder of Cobh's rich maritime history. The town was once a major port and served as the last port of call for the Titanic before it embarked on its ill-fated voyage to New York. The houses are also a testament to the craftsmanship of the builders who constructed them over 170 years ago.
