The National Art Museum of Catalonia(MNAC) is located in the Palau Nacional at the foot of Montjuïc. The museum was founded in 1990 by the merger of the Museu d'Art de Catalunya and the Museu d'Art Modern. MNAC exhibits mainly Catalan art from the Romanesque period to the mid-twentieth century. The collection contains sculptures, paintings, objets d'art, drawings, engravings, posters, photography, coins, medals and paper money.

La Pedrera, also known as Casa Milà, is one of the buildings designed by Antoni Gaudí. It was his last work before he devoted himself completely to the construction of the Sagrada Familia. The building was completed in 1912 and was constructed to house apartments.
La Pedrera is not so colourful on the outside like Casa Batlló, but is admired for its magnificent roof architecture. Today some flats are privately owned but most of the building is open for public.

Casa Batlló is one of Gaudí's masterpieces in Barcelona. It was built in 1877 and was completely refurbished between 1904 and 1906.
