The Eiffel Tower in Paris is one of the most famous monuments in the world. The tower was built between 1887 and 1889 and stands 324 metres tall. Its name comes from the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower.
There are 3 levels from where you can have a look at the centre of Paris. The first 2 levels can be reached by stairs or with the elevator if you prefer. For the top level you'll have to buy an extra ticket for the elevator, but it's worth it for the great view.
